The department of health and human services needs to publish the current data related to maternal mortality daily. We are only guessing what the numbers are and that’s no accident. What is happening to women seeking emergency medical care in hospitals and their parking lots and in peoples homes must be made public. We need to know numbers only. We need to know the states who turn a blind eye to maternal deaths. Preventable healthcare related deaths should not be ignored. They should be analyzed for cause and improvement/ prevention put in place. This is our responsibility as humans to find out the numbers now. The data from 3 years ago is not relevant since the hippocratic has become a thing of the past. Transparency is essential.

The SAVE Act is already in effect in Michigan for some reason. We tried to get my 93 yr. old mother-in-law registered to vote at the DMV with tons of identification. They wouldn’t let her register without a birth certificate with her maiden name!! She worked the polls in Chicago every election her entire adult life, so she was very upset!!
