America Has No King, America Needs No King, America Will Not Tolerate A King…
In times like this, when the will of the majority is stifled by the interests of the aristocracy, it becomes necessary for the common man to throw off the chains of oppression through whatever means they may possess. We must rally now and reassert the will of the people, lest the Republic be lost to the necrosis from which it currently suffers.
The bread and circuses have placated us, lulling the people into a state of complacency while higher authorities stripped us of the only powers we had to wield against them. A cat de-clawed can hardly survive in the wild; But the fangs remain, and we have bared our teeth for too long without using them. - Minerva

Yes! The goal is to make it easier for people to easily find out how the resistance is spreading and how they can plug in.
This is a wonderful public service! Thank you. I wonder if you are thinking about what should be on this substack after the protests have happened? I'd love to see it become the repository for data about turnout. Thus far, protest organizers seem to have ignored estimating crowd size, getting aerial photos, etc.. It would be good to know how close we are getting to Erica Chenoweth and Maria J. Stephan's 3.5%: if that percentage of the population engages in peaceful protest they are successful in getting change. https://www.hks.harvard.edu/faculty-research/policy-topics/advocacy-social-movements/paths-resistance-erica-chenoweths-research . Thanks!
